CVS Trip 4/26

I love doing a CVS trip on Saturday evenings. My store starts their new Sunday ad at 4 pm on Saturdays, and I can shop both ads at the same time. I had a great trip planned, one transaction from this week’s ad, and one for Sunday’s ad. Well, as it sometimes happens, things did not go as planned.
My first transaction was the Gillette/Venus deal. I had it all planned out. I had a 25% coupon to use, a CVS coupon to stack, and manufacturer coupons, but they were out of the Venus Razors I needed. I was able to get a rain check and they stapled all my coupons to the rain check so I will be able to use them when they are back in stock. Now onto the 2nd transaction I had planned. HOME RUN!! I was able to get 100% savings, + it is a $21.50 Money Maker!!
Here is how my CVS Trip went today:
2 Benadryl 24 ct Allergy Relief $4.99 ea

4 Pop Tarts $1.99 ea
2 Snickers $1.00 ea

I started following The Coupon Wizards after doing some research on the subject, with a little prodding from a friend, and coming across them on Facebook. I was hooked immediately & started to learn quickly. Mostly out of necessity, but also because I loved everything about it. The organization, the researching, the putting together of deals, but most of all, the savings! I was saving my family money to pay those bills & be able to eat all at the same time. This blog was a life saver; literally! In no time at all, I was a blogger myself on the site. My husband has since found a job, but this is now mine and I love, love, love it and hope you will to.
